I woke up with incredibly sore calves from the Zumba dance class I took on Sunday. I guess I should've stretched a bit more!
Breakfast featured a repeat of my homemade raisin bread french toast, with the addition of a sliced grapefruit.
I got a new haircut AND dyed my hair!
I definitely feel like I spiced-up my look with this drastic change!
It may not look like much, but I chopped off a lot of length in the back.
I made salmon with artichoke hearts, sauteed zucchini and squash, and brown rice pilaf with mushrooms for dinner.
I whipped up a new sauce to go on the salmon: 2 tbsp capers, 2 tsp lemon, 1/2 cup sour cream. The flavors went together perfectly!
Dessert was a piece of toast with peanut butter, banana and cinnamon sprinkled on top.
Have you ever had a haircut that you hated?
It usually takes me a day or two to get used to my new haircut. I am especially noticing how short it is when I go to run my fingers through it and it's not there anymore!
ditto! I just got 11 inches chopped off. yours looks great.
ReplyDeletecrazy lightening storm!
I'm trying to grow mine out! However, I have gotten a haircut that looked AWFUL when the hairdresser styled it but when I did it at home, I loved it. Weird huh?
ReplyDeleteI'm loving that red on you!
Your hair looks great! I recently found a stylist that I love who cuts my hair so well. Its tough because I'm curly and a lot of people can't do curly hair well!
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks great! I always grow it out then cut it off and it's been almost every color I could imagine. I went really dark brown last year and I didn't like it at all!
ReplyDeleteOh ya, seems like whenever I go to an expensive salon the next day after the junk is out of my hair it looks totally different haha
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks great! I love in the box color. I have never spent more than $7 to color my hair and won't spend more than that in the foreseeable future.
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks GREAT!!! I LOVE the red on you!!
ReplyDeleteI had a haircut that I hated once. The hairdresser was not paying attention AT ALL while she was cutting it, as she was too busy gossiping with other stylists, and sneaking away for cigarettes. I was only about 13, but I worked up the courage to call the manager and complain. They fixed it for free, and that girl had to see someone else fix her mistake.
Hey Babe, your new cut looks hot. Hope your having a good day!
ReplyDeletesuper duper! a foodie blogger in Houston! and a runner too? must add you!!
ReplyDeleteDitto to what Junie B said... And I love the photographs!
ReplyDeleteI like the haircut! I can def. notice a difference
ReplyDeleteDid you take that lightning storm pic??
Your hair cut looks adorable! I love it. I'm always afraid to dye it but would like to someday!
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks great!!
ReplyDeleteIve had some HORRIBLE haircuts. No hairdresser ever listened to me. They just did whatever they wanted and I would wind up with a ponytail for two weeks until it settled a little bit. Now I have the greatest hairdresser ever. He asks me what I want I say "I dont know, something different" and he nails it every time.
Wow, your haircut looks amazing! What a fresh look!
ReplyDeleteooooooo i love love love LOVE the layers! such a pretty color too! i have def had my fair share of bad haircuts, most of which happened when i was a teenager. i have had the same stylist for 4 years now and i would follow her to the end of the world and back :)
ReplyDeleteMmmmm... love love love capers.
ReplyDeleteCute hair!!
